Privacy Policy

Lacquer Ledger is designed to be private and offline.

Data collection

Lacquer Ledger does not collect or transmit personal information to the developer or any app-operated server, and it does not sell or share personal information for advertising. It does not use analytics, advertising SDKs, tracking technologies, accounts, or a remote server.

Data stored on your device

Bottle details, wishlist entries, notes, color and finish selections, and wear history are stored in the app's local database on your device.

If you choose a bottle photo, Lacquer Ledger opens your device's system photo picker and copies only the image you select into the app's private local storage. The app does not upload the photo.

Exporting data

When you choose Export, Lacquer Ledger creates a CSV file of bottle details and wear fields in temporary app storage, then opens your device's share sheet. Photos are not included. You control whether and where the CSV is shared. Lacquer Ledger does not receive information about your chosen destination.

Deleting data

You can remove individual bottles inside the app. Deleting the app removes its local database and app-managed photos from the device. The Android app disables automatic cloud backup and device-to-device transfer; on iOS, removal and restoration may be subject to standard device-backup behavior.

Children

Lacquer Ledger is a general-audience utility and does not knowingly collect information from children or anyone else.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated policy and revision date will be published on this page.
